Pros

Co-workers were fine people. Building

Cons

Company used pandemic as an excuse to take advantage of workers. 1. Forced all workers to use 5 vacation days during quarantine. 2. Fired many workers. 3. Furloughed workers they wanted to get rid of(still hiring while furloughing??) 4. Unmatched 401k 5. Forcing workers to do the job of 3-4 people for low pay. Avoid at all cost.

Everything You Don't Want in an Employer

Pros

The mid and low "level" people are fantastic, as are a few of the managers that really want to see the company be as great as it could be. The product is interesting so I learned a bit, in that regard.

Cons

Lack of trust, caring, communication, empowerment, or inclusivity. Management has a "do as I say and not as I do" approach, and often keeps themselves far from the reality on the ground. Communication is shocking, as secrets and withholding information are power tools used by those who are important. Big decisions and changes are made without including those who could have the most impact on them, and are often implemented with little explanation of "why" or creating buy-in. It's an all-in-all frustrating place to work and the environment is extremely negative as more people start feeling that frustration. Finally, the company incessantly stresses their values but in no way exemplifies them. While toting a "family" feel and "respect for individuals", there have been countless examples of the very opposite. They simply do not care about the people. However those at the very top feel they are doing a fantastic job of communication and caring, which is not only fascinating, but clear evidence of how out-of-touch they are.

Company was once Good

Pros

There was a sence of family and caring amongst the employees (who were not upper management). Pets could be brought into the office. Casual dress code.

Cons

The CEO is easily influenced by those in his inner circle - and trusts them to a fault. He allows them to make business decisions on whims and promises without substantiated research to support it. Employees should be aware that they can be judged and sentenced without a formal investigation into claims which could shatter a person's career. For a company which teaches and promotes family and their own iCare values, they certainly don't care about the truth. HR does not help the employees - in fact, when blatantly asked what proof they saw to support egregious claims - they stated none. Females are vastly underrepresented in the Board of Directors and Upper Management.
