      Pretty laid back firm, good for people not looking for a busy work environment

      Not much room for growth, work isn't challenging or for those looking to work with the best/work on big projects.

      Pros

      Working from home. Canary Wharf is a nice place.

      Cons

      Horrible. Tax department is incredibly racist. Partners only promote white favourites and use non white staff as lackeys. Private client consists of notorious bullies who have previously bullied Asian staff members who have all left. One has a reputation of being racist and aggressive and has been overheard using racist terms. The firm would rather employ a white South African with experience in apartheid south Africa than someone from tower hamlets for a HR job. The department is a joke. If you’re not caucasian you will suffer endlessly. The partner is holding back promotions of Asian staff members and only giving them to the white staff.

      Great place to work - if you’re white

      Pros

      Work from home so I don’t need to see the characters I deal with face to face.

      Cons

      Incredibly racist environment. Pretends to care about diversity but actually promotes racial inequality. Promotions given to staff who abide by rules even if they are not technically gifted. Backstabbing culture is dominant, be prepared to be mistreated and mishandled and bullied if you’re not white. Nobody cares about you which is why so many people are leaving once qualified. Partners will bully you and make you feel out of place.
