Management is very, very poor, and the overall direction of the company lacks transparency
or innovation. Many managers and leads are quick to shift blame to overworked employees and also routinely blame "the industry" for their lack of skills or planning. A lack of foresight and cliquishness within the company has created a small group of "in" employees, with everyone else left to suffer or search for other positions...a LOT of people are searching for other opportunities.
Nepotism is rife within the company. Family members of the higher-ups are stationed in prominent positions, and friends of the higher-ups are granted positions with little thought to their actual performance or capabilities. The company likes to present itself as tight-knit, but employees are overworked, micromanaged, and feedback is never welcome or considered.
