THE WORST SECURITY COMPANY IN CALGARY

Pros

PWM sometimes pay you the correct amount, the rest of the time they make stuff up to get away with it

Cons

I wish this had the option of minus stars! This place is a literal joke, from the president who I've only herd yell at scream at everyone when I was in the lobby, to the puppet VP and account managers. They tell you they value you to get you to work, but as soon as they do not need you desperately, be prepared to be dropped, BAM just like that! PWM mass hires, (I should have taken the full lobby filling out paperwork, literally everyone who walks in) and will than string you along for months, without even 4 hours to your name. If you need the WORST job as part time, maybe, but never ever take it on for a full time job, you'll lose it for no reason at all, to bring down their already low paying jobs or cause PWM loses contracts left, right and center, so sites are noticing what they are. My advise to you is do not listen to the "positive" comments on here, so obviously written by management, or does every security guard who has been in the office but once a week (either begging for hours, or picking up the cheque because they are even to cheap to mail it to you) know the going ons of the inside of the business. They might say they will bring about change, but after almost a year and a half year, I know this isn't true. The only thing this place cares about is profit and YOU are just a workhorse towards that goal, and if you get in the way, even on issues of CLEARLY voiced issues by many, especially a WCB Claim, WHOA!! You will be shown the door so fast you won't know what hit you. This has happened to , lets just say 2 of my work friends and trust me they always hold against you, as well as even the slightest complaint. Shut this sweatshop down already! The team I work with is alright! The middle office staff are nice, upper management is the worst. The boss, although I have been told not to worry about him because he isn't around all that much, seems to be the biggest low life around.

Pros

None at all what so ever.

Cons

Childish management at the Calgary location. Preventing a 72 year old man from collecting EI, because they cannot give him LOCAL hours, not long distance once, yet claiming he quit when he DID NOT. There by making it so he and his wife can barely afford food, let alone pay bills. They should be ashamed of themselves as they are the scum of the human race. This is only ONE of the MANY stories that have come out of this office.
