Pros

One benefit of working for this employer is to obtain work experience to transfer to an ethical, competent employer while watching countless employees resign or be terminated for usually a litany of reasons.

Cons

Pacific Clinics has at least one judgement against them for failing to lawfully pay employees in accordance with California Wage & Hour laws and retaliating against the management level employee of their violations. Judgement records of this nature are public record. There are laws governing when and how employers must pay employees. Pacific Clinics knowingly and willingly continued to withhold wages due to their employees yet continued to conceal bonuses to Executive Management from their employees and lost in arbitration for retaliation against the employee who reported their wage and hour violations. Despite continuing to obstruct the facts of their violation, they lost more than $1 million dollars to the employee who brought the matter to their attention and alleged that they lawfully and ethically paid their employees. There is at least a three year statute of limitations for wage and hour violations. If you are a current or former employee of Pacific Clinics monitor each paycheck to ensure that you were compensated for the hours that you worked and/or provided services and that you receive your meal periods and lunch periods each day. You may not be retaliated against for protecting your rights and can file a claim with the California Labor Commissioner or speak with a licensed attorney. You cannot be retaliated against for inquiries of this nature or you may collect more than $1 million dollars, or any amount deemed appropriate by the court.

Unrealistic expectations

Pros

Great benefits and vacation. Loved my colleagues and the team. The work is very meaningful it the politics from executive management weren't there.

Cons

High levels of favoritism from executive management. Extremely low pay for line staff while executive management is making between 250k-350k (look up their 990 taxes!). Very unrealistic expectations of productivity and limited in how you are able to provide therapy to clients. There is a lot of extra paperwork outside of the DMH expected paperwork that is pointless and redundant. The company is extremely top heavy.

Pros

No Pros, they are rude, mean and disrespectful! Upper management does a poor-job treating employees with disrespect! Directors, Supervisor bully employees, and shame them, instead of helping them if in when they fall behind. There is no room for employees to voice their concerns or needs, this does not exist here. "Your doomed if you say anything, your dammed if you don't" This place is not pro-employees, staff is looked down and shamed, blamed for everything that can potentially go wrong. If there is a problem administrators don't care, instead they "point-the-finger" in your face and say "its your fault", "You should know better" and shame on "you when are you going to learn"! Please, please consider elsewhere I had one-year of total torture and stress no one cared, or listened! Unfortunately, HR does not back up employees only Upper Management they all are dirty fighters, and fire people without any reason, your are "at-will" at this agency!

Cons

HR, is in alliance only with Upper management, your voice as a staff/employee does not matter! They base all information ONLY by their supervisors! The paperwork is a nightmare, and you get blamed for it in case you get behind. They are write-up "happy" and will write-you-up every opportunity, every chance!
