Pros

Nice place to escape to, fun place if you love island and adventure. 600/month including plane tickets, food, and shared room.

Cons

If you are planning on interning there, don't. No professionalism whatsoever. Not worth the time. It's the worst mistake I've ever made going there. Very unprofessional staff. Employees laughs and talk crap about customers because they think customers couldn't understand. Very unsanitary, they attempted to place a pot of soy sauce on the table after they found a fly in there. A lot of sexual harassment, physically and verbally. Two employees from different restaurants say the F word to me at different times. I reported the first one to the manager, she didn't believe me because her employees has been there for 10+ years but then later said that's their culture.

Pros

Honestly the pros would be being able to live on the premises, access to food, and being able to not worry about bills.

Cons

WHERE do I even start. Firstly the people here, LORD. Honestly the people here complain so much about the tiniest things, they will be super nice to your face and then talk crap behind your back. Super two faced. TRUST NO ONE AT ALL. If you’re pretty and a woman, congrats you basically will get treated super fairly here. You’ll get princess treatment. Anything else not so much, unless you fit in with the crowd. It’s not what they advertised, you’ll basically be a lifeguard working here, the hours are long, a typical shift looks like 8am-12 or 1. Then 1-6. Or 12pm to 5. Then 6-8. That may seem like it’s easy but just wait until you do it day to day. With only ONE day off. They have different areas you’ll be life guarding in. And one of the areas have a swim through aquarium. You will be required to swim in 12/15 feet water. And sometimes you’ll be required to do some maintenance. As far as feeding the fish, getting in the water and taking out mini gates etc. The so called “Captains” do not give a crap about you, like I said unless you are beautiful and a woman or you really fit in with the crowd. You’re golden. But if you keep to yourself and you’re not the type to socialize. Don’t come here. FAVORTISIM IS HUGE HERE. Also during a typhoon you’ll still have to be outside sitting in a lifeguard chair unless they deem it as serious enough to come inside. DO NOT COME HERE. It’s not with it for the pay. Plus the housing, eh we’re huge roaches almost everyday in our dorm. There’s heavy mold, mildew etc. And for what? only $9.25 an hour??? Heck no and EVERYTHING HERE is expensive. Don’t be like me and be fooled by the other reviews and YouTube videos. This place is not what you think

Pros

The only lesson I learned from the 4 years of working for this hotel was that I had to be fake - not only to the guests, but to the rest of the employees as well...straight up advice from one of the directors. I've only stayed for that long because I was going to college and the hours were flexible for my schedule. Since I left, I have never gone back and have no intention to as long as I live on this island

Cons

No consideration for the employees. Managers show no regard for how the employees of their department conduct themselves especially in front of guests. Employees will show inappropriate behavior towards each other and guests. It is not worth the employee benefits.
