      Pros

      I absolutely enjoyed working at PSCU, really liked my team and overall a very positive experience! There are many highly tenured employees which is a good reflection on the credit union. They also like to promote from within which is amazing. It's a fun place to work, there are always fun celebrations. I also love that everyone would decorate their department/cubicle areas for different holidays, and birthdays and anniversaries are celebrated. You are recognized for going above and beyond.

      Cons

      Is it a perfect place to work with no issues? Of course not. No organization or company is perfect. Since there are so many tenured employees, it is great but can also result in challenges. Being open to change, being careful with favoritism, being inclusive. These are always areas for organizations to work on.

      If you like high school drama, backstabbing management and office politics, this place is for you!

      Pros

      The benefits are great. Paid 100%!

      Cons

      Lack of sufficient training. Communication is poor. Performance reviews and development of goals is almost nonexistent. Most of management expects perfection, and belittles you if mistakes are made. Sufficient policies are lacking and some out of date. Overall I would not recommend this employer.

      Great Place to Settle Long-Term

      Pros

      Overall company culture is very positive. A lot of smart and friendly employees and majority have a positive attitude which helps foster a positive work environment. Great benefits that are mostly company-paid. Hybrid work from home schedule. Beautiful new corporate office building located by everything you would need. Work/life balance (this may depend on department). Annual bonus for all employees.

      Cons

      Some of the very tenured employees have an "old school" way of thinking and doing things. The mentality of "well we've always done it this way" doesn't serve the company or it's employees well. The positive is that the company as a whole is trying to change this way of thinking, it just takes time.
