      Patient Experience in the Centre’s is a priority and nice Centre teams to work with

      Poor ego driven leadership from the top. Power plays ongoing and off putting. A very do as I say not as I do culture. If you follow orders and like to be a yes person - ethical practices or not you will be ok. Very poor handling of grievances and no care for following ethical HR practices or conducting fair investigations when feedback is given

      Free cpr course, Dentists are great to work

      I have been working with pacific smiles dental for a while now. And was with a different firm prior and my old firm was so much better you were recognised for your work. Since working for pacific smiles we have not received a pay rise in 5 years and they pull you up for the small thing that are wrong and never praise you on the good things you do. Infection control only applys to the staff not the dentist which is wrong the rule are there for a reason and it should abide by everyone. They don't like it when you stand up for your rights.the management of the centre is biased and has her her favourites, so if you want to train in other things your out of luck.

      Pros

      I struggle to think of pros other than getting paid, the staff that work in the dental centres are some of the best I've ever worked with. They make the dreaded days at pacific smiles a lot better. I will say they allow flexibility in regards to hours.

      Cons

      THE PAY. The upper management. The long hours. CONSTANTLY UNDERSTAFFED. Sometimes no bathrooms onsite.
