      Great hotel poor management

      Pros

      They have a very good clientele, the place is almost 90% at capacity, the insight into a 4 Diamond Hotel was excellent.

      Cons

      I believe management is very poor in this setting. Never have i been let go by a company with an excuse of saying "Your in your probation period so we do not need to give you an explanation." I learned and trained very well had a good reputation with guests with numerous positive guest reviews. The day before guests came in to thank me for everything i had done and even provided me gifts. Im not sure how these things go unnoticed but I believe these people are very particular to who they want working for them, If i had known id last 2 months i wouldnt have quit my job to start this one.

      Pros

      High clientele, work next to the beach, not micromanaged

      Cons

      No parking, leave 30 mins earlier to get to work in summer. The hours. The GM is pretty cold and quick to judge harshly.

      Pros

      Fun group of employees, family oriented, privately owned hotel. If you need specific days off, they would well with your schedule.

      Cons

      Hours (weekends, holidays, etc.) You may be working up to 10 days in a row if thats how the schedule falls that week. They rarely promote from within.
