Pros

At first glance, they talk the talk, but I lost faith very quickly. They pay well enough in base salary. You'll get lots of zoom yoga and trivia nights and all the "team timey" things you could ever want

Cons

Would not recommend working here. It's infuriating. (I was hired during COVID, it worked well for the quarantine) There is no real strategy. Every month felt like I was out there stabbing around in the dark seeing what I could hit. No shot at consistent production with current set-up. The compensation is not data driven and seems based on a personal whim. Due diligence is not a strong suit. Ownership is checked out. No legitimate training or process for new hires to adopt. It was 6 weeks before I even got on the phones and then without a script or sequence. Near total team turnover within the year. Old school approach of "more calls, more deals". Performance management is non-existent. Not a single manager heard me pitch or make a call or ever offered me feedback in a year. Revenue generated is not a significant measurement of performance The best deals are assigned ad hoc to favourite reps. No fair distribution of opportunities. Efforts to improve process are rejected. HR seems only capable of enabling. Values are mainly lip service, especially the idea that you can speak your mind or that they truly desire balance.

As a company that develops software to fight online harassment and cyberbullying and protect integrity online, we have no tolerance for toxic behaviour in the workplace. We parted ways with this person after continued toxic behaviour and lack of self-reflection to correct course, despite having been provided guidance and time. This review and the many other 1-star reviews that he has written using different anonymous accounts are an example of this behaviour and confirm that we made the right choice to part ways. Somehow, this person is having a very difficult time moving on from the end of their employment with Pagefreezer and keeps lashing out in anger. We hope he can process the change and move forward positively with their life. To the reader considering working at Pagefreezer: I would advise you to meet our team and ask any questions you may have in person. Rest assured; we do not tolerate toxic colleagues.

Hope is not a strategy

Pros

- Okay pay, OTE was not realistic at all and misleading as only a couple reps were hitting quota (but were given the abundance of incoming opportunity) - Huge churn on the sales team (opportunity to move up/ get leads when people quit)

Cons

- Platform has consistent issues - The last sales review doesn't sound like a sales rep at all - The CRO is extremely condescending, doesn't listen to anyone, people are forced to do things that are unproductive. Zero trust is given, everything needs to have fingerprints on it (even simple things), pricing often makes no logical sense and when pointed out, it's ignored, processes in place could be improved, but management is unwilling to listen to constructive ideas. The majority of the sales staff that were working there in January are no longer there ( 8 out of 12-13, I'd be shocked if more don't leave by EOY). - Lots of gaslighting when you bring up issues - You will not hit target - You will not build references - You will not be happy here on the sales team (you can either quit like a hero, or live long enough to see yourself become the villain) - Don't be shocked to get messages after-hours, on vacation or weekends

Pros

Pay is relatively good. Product works well. Good benefits.

Cons

Extremely poor management. HR has the entire function of enabling toxic behaviours and covering it up. Wasn't planning on writing a review, but most of the cons described with accurate and my exact experience. Shocking they try to discredit the negative reviews as a few bad apples when there have been teams of sales people who left the company. You don't shed 90% of sales people without a lack of opportunity or a lack of belief in the leadership. The product-market fit is there. Lots of sales to be made. People can make their own judgements about why so many salespeople have left.

Most of the "feedback" in these 1-star reviews is made-up and complete nonsense but just has been posted with the intention to do damage. Somehow, this person is having a very difficult time moving on from the end of their employment with Pagefreezer and keeps lashing out in anger and hurt, even though it's been quite a while since he moved on. We hope he can process the change and move forward positively with their life. To the reader considering working at Pagefreezer: I would advise you to meet our team and ask any questions you may have in person. Rest assured, we do not tolerate toxic employees.
