Pros

High deal flow Lots of learning and career opportunities for junior bankers Fair amount of autonomy for being part of a larger organization (Duff & Phelps)

Cons

Can be staffed on a dozen or so projects / deals at a time Less structure than other groups / banks on projects which can lead to some engagements lasting years

Pros

Solid boutque with some good people there. They are very good at what they do, selling distressed companies.

Cons

A few senior partners were difficult to work for. If you were not part of the inner circle, it limited your success at the firm. Not a platform to do larger deals.
