Pros

They leave you alone unless you upset the client you are assigned to work for.

Cons

Communication is not good and very troublesome. They stopped paying their contractors life insurance premiums because they had plans to replace it yet kept deducting the premiums from the paychecks for 6 months before finally admitting anything. It was upsetting to find out I was not covered for 6 months while I still paid my premiums. The company did refund the unspent premium money but I wonder how long was I really uncovered. They like to have year end parties in loud bars. A total waste of time and money. Can't hardly hear the conversations. I would rather have received a membership to the jelly of the month club. After 2 years I had saved up vacation time for a nice 2 weeks off, hadn't had a vacation in over 4 years but before I could use it all PTO was not only canceled but they took away all my already earned vacation time which was really upsetting. Suddenly no more sick time, no more vacation time, no more paid holidays and an emptied vacation bank. I eventually found another position that paid 50% more.

Pros

They have a nice office. They do offer part time remote work in the area from time to time. Recruiters are initially friendly. Hourly rates are decent.

Cons

1. They lie about the number of hours you'll be working, in order for you to take the project. 1a: No standards whatsoever in the way they write proposals. 2. There is zero project management buffer between you and the client, and their clients are clueless about it. 3. They allow bad situations to happen and escalate, because they have no understanding of what they're doing. All of their processes are ad-hoc. 4. They allow bad clients to dictate the agenda, and set unreasonable expectations. 5. They play blame games, rather than attempting to resolve conflict. 6. They ignore you, until they've allowed the situation to go off the rails, because of their own lacking abilities in management. Then you'll get yelled at. 7. Their internal system does not account effectively for what's actually happened on a project. This causes confusion with the clients, which compounds the problem of lacking expectation management. 8. Don't expect a final paycheck.
