      Management lost focus

      Pros

      Located in downtown Ithaca, access to local eateries and stores, and the Cayuga waterfront trail are close and accessible. In addition, Palisade offered a wellness program and seemed concerned about ergonomically friendly work stations.

      Cons

      Palisade currently has an individual in control who is insecure in their position and power hungry at the same time. This person has made false accusations toward numerous employees to result in termination of their employment. In addition, expectations are unrealistic and employee morale has diminished greatly. No one feels secure in their positions and futures seem unsure.

      Great Company With A Bad Seed

      Pros

      Great location, great employees, great benefits. Depending on what department you are in, you are giving great freedom. Upper managers out of touch with shifting business climate.

      Cons

      Horrible Middle Manager which ruins the whole corporate atmosphere. The aforementioned middle manager is a horrible, power hungry, crude individual. They are the only middle manager in the whole company, but that doesn't diminish her role at destroying corporate morale.

      Cons

      it's amazing that anything gets done or accomplished that's worth mentioning for a software engineer. its inundated by politics over innovation accompanied by very low salaries compared to industry.
