Client-side exposure – You get to work with multiple companies, gaining real industry experience. Travelling allowance usually provided – Most service roles cover travel, food, and stay. Career growth in field service – Experience here helps you move to better engineering roles later. Decent job security – Field engineers are always in demand. Work independence – You handle sites, decisions, and customer-facing tasks.

Cons

High travel – Many field visits, sometimes long working hours. Less work-life balance – Service calls can come anytime. Pressure from clients – Need to solve issues quickly.
