      Good work-life balance but inconsistent policies and rules

      Pros

      The company offers a very good work-life balance. Once the workday ends, employees are generally not disturbed, which helps maintain a healthy separation between work and personal life. The health insurance benefits are also quite good, with a reasonable coverage limit. In addition, the salary is fairly competitive and acceptable compared to the overall responsibilities.

      Cons

      The organization does not appear to have clear or consistently applied rules and standards. Policies may not be enforced equally for everyone, and there are no clear, measurable indicators or tracking mechanisms to ensure fairness and transparency.

      Pros

      Monthly staff lunch where there is enough for 3-5 sushi per person (No extra benefits beyond the Australian minimum).

      Cons

      Overtime on weekends is an implicit expectation as you are 120% always under the pump. Low salary but expecting you to perform miracles because of AI, even with unclear requirements. New manager do not have your back, even in front of demanding and arguably abusive clients. Cut throat environment where a manager contradicts their own advice in order to look good and survive in this toxic company. Cheap 1080p Lenovo monitors if your desk has one at all.
