Pros

The ladies you work with are amazing and like a small family. The management is amazing as well. The dresses are beautiful and it is so much fun to help a bride find her dress. You must have a good knowledge of your stock.

Cons

Your pay may or may not be correct and could be a day late. Breaks are taken out of your paycheck regardless if they are taken or not. No benefits at all. Owner plays favorites. Don’t even try to ask for time off. Bonuses and incentives are promised but never given. Owner creates a very hostile and toxic work environment. If you want to be appreciated and respected as an employee, or paid on time, this is not the place for you.

Pros

Some of the pros in working here would be the great brides you get to assist and eventually build a relationship with. It quite an experience being able to help them find the dress of their dreams. The 1 star given to this place is only for the amazing brides and some of the staff who represented Panache in a professional and honest manner.

Cons

-Your paycheck will always be wrong; you'll never have direct deposit -Management is not truthful to employees or clients & fails to take responsibility for their actions -Orders are not places on time -There is no organization at all -There is no proper protocol for documenting inappropriate/defiant behavior -Unsanitary work environment; roaches, spiders, bedbugs etc. -Not all employees work the same amount, some get to coast by doing the bare minimum -Horrible communication with employees, designers, clients etc. You may need to wait a week or so to hear from someone only to later be given an untruthful excuse as to why it took so long. -Vacation; you're lucky if they tell you within a timely manner if your time has been approved. You'll end up waiting til the month of to get notice of approval or not -Breaks are non properly planned out for each employee

Pros

Chance to interact directly with designers and some wonderful clients in a luxury setting. The other consultants were very supportive so there wasn't a catty/competitive vibe that is present in some other salons. The showroom itself was beautiful and the quality of merchandise was excellent. I was pleased with the management in my salon and always had the sense that the director had my back in any situation.

Cons

The cons really stem from the owner/company structure. Although it's not surprising in bridal, there were no benefits and little flexibility in terms of scheduling. They offer a non-livable wage given the low number of appointments, leaving you with few chances to make commission. Interactions with the company owner were awkward as he's very misogynistic. With a primarily female staff he should really learn how to speak to women in a way that isn't so condescending. I was told on multiple occasions by management that he likes "his girls" to wear lipstick.
