Leadership is very defensive and nervous. Everyone is in hysterics all the time. Warehouse coworkers even feel it. Communication is poor, and decisions are often unclear. The company is constantly changing direction and contradicting themselves. The president is related to the founder and focuses heavily on monitoring employees instead of leading the company. This creates a culture of fear, not trust. Every leader is fearful of him.
Pay is low compared to the amount of work expected. Raises and promotions are rare. There are people who worked for more than 30+ years and they aren’t even leaders. I was with them for a long time and they never tried to help me grow. The company has been getting worse for more than ten years, and many systems and processes are outdated.
