Terrible leadership

Pros

Company has a great talent pool and working with them was fun

Cons

Engineering management is very bad and driven by inexperienced leaders. The CEO has created a toxic environment with blame games and constantly changing mind. It went from a fun environment to depressing place within few months.

Pros

- they used to pay above the average - the product has really interesting challenges - we have great professionals working here

Cons

- we had salary cuts of 15% - the leadership forced another team to cancel vacation and work during the holidays (Christmas and New Year) to deliver a product that is 3 months delayed from an imaginary date given by the Product Team without the approval of the Engineering Team - they ignore employees' feedback - the financial situation is not transparent (the company life dropped from 20 to 12 months) - Everyone is wrong all the time, except the CEO - Crypto-bro culture

A toxic joke of a company

Pros

You never feel bad about producing low quality work, because the company wont amount to anything anyway.

Cons

All the issues stem from the incompetent delusional CEO. He has minimal understanding of crypto technology and his vision and strategy is constructed by simply placing the prefix "Para" (for Paradigm) in front of the latest Twitter trend. Some favorites include, ParaDex, ParaWallet, ParaPassport, and yes, even ParaVerse (thanks Zukerberg). The roadmap is non-existent. Engineers are asked to fulfill the latest fever dream with unrealistic timelines, only to have the priority completely change when the project is 70% completed. The priority shift is obviously blamed on the engineers -- had they been able to deliver the project two sprints ago, it would have been the right strategy, but now... its not, because, you see, crypto is fast paced.
