Pros

A great place to immerse myself in the seasonal produce and upscale Marin mindset so prevalent in the northern California/ Bay area food scene.

Cons

Certainly not A RESTAURANT, definitely a grocery store; which was more of a con for me -not so much to them. Also ,not really understanding what it takes to run a $4M a year food operation hurts them.

Pros

- I really liked the fact that I got to work overtime - The pay is decent for not having to have any experience 10.00/hr (can't live on your own with that but its money!) - My hard work did not go unnoticed. - The owner David G is nice and so is Karen McCloskey

Cons

- There are little to no raises - The breaks are only 10 minutes, so if you smoke it's like maybe a half cigarette by the time you walk to the side/back of the building. - Lunch is only 30 minutes

Pros

your hard work will be recognized in that they'll promote you fairly quickly.

Cons

poor pay for high expectations. they frequently pay below what is advertised, and treat their employees with a level of respect on par with the knowledge that they have extremely high turn over. it's a very stressful, highly political environment. most workers on all levels are dissatisfied, in my experience. doesn't seem like anyone's really happy to work there.
