Toxic culture and low pay make it unappealing

Pros

Work from home balance is alright, only 2 days in the office per week. Makes working there just about bearable for those that can tolerate the office backstabbing and drama.

Cons

Pay fairly low for job role - should have be more £6/7k than what I was getting on total salary. Culture was horrific - many staff experienced bullying from either management or other members of staff. Senior management ineffective at stopping bullying from other team members who had been there longer. Many senior staff have not worked outside of Paragon and have limited professional experience in the field they were working in. Seasoned professionals needed to be brought in to help with the backlog of work created by these members off staff who were unable to keep up with the work load. Do not recommend working here for your mental health as it is a very toxic workplace/general atmosphere. Useful for a stepping stone company to work at while you find a better, well paid job. The pension pay and other benefits offered are substandard also.

Good exposure for career growth but underpaid and overworked

Pros

Lots of exposure to areas and tasks outside of normal job role. A stepping stone company for a career.

Cons

Lots of exposure to areas and tasks outside of normal job role due to overworking and underpaying the majority of staff. Not where you want to be long term.
