Upper management needs FIXING

Pros

Cant really say anything great

Cons

You will not succeed or "fit in" unless you speak or are of arabic descent. They will speak in other languages around you and not include you in conversations even when you are standing right beside them. Women only take up about 20% of all upper management and are still not included as the males are. Upper management is based on who is closer friends with CEO. Upper management will say they do all the work when it is really coming from lower down the line. Management won't take responsibility for their misactions. Upper management is constantly being hired/fired and new people trying to "fix" company. Store managers are not properly trained, they will give a franchise to anyone who has enough money, thus creating stores with untrained managers, supervisors and owners. There are no perks to working here, they do not take care of their staff and lose them due to other companies willing to provide proper pay plus incentives. Bonuses only go to upper management who do not even do anything but sit in their chair all day. Pay is not great and if you want benefits you will take a HUGE cut out of monthly pay. The CEO is a multi millionaire but the budget in place for hiring employees is sub-par. Hire more employees so the 1/2 good ones arent overly stressed and can focus on good customer service.

Pros

Meeting some great people. Direct boss always trying to protect and deflect hostility from the CEO. The food is reasonably good.

Cons

Stay away from this place. Expected to not take days off. Work 10-12 hour days. Treated as an inferior. CEO is great from an outside community perspective but treats employee's like robots. Never says anything positive always critical and demonstrative. Calls you a monkey and always threatens to fire everyone. Lies constantly about other employees. Work environment bordering on illegal. Simply a cancerous environment. There will be a revolt from either employees or franchisees.

Pros

Easy to get a job - they're always hiring to replace people that quit. If you happen to get a good manager they will take care of you, but those don't usually stay long.

Cons

Management expects far too much from employees. There are not enough hands to get all of the work done before the end of you shift. If you do stay on your own time to finish, they don't say anything, but if you work your shift and nothing extra they complain that you are not 'a team player'. Most of the employees don't follow corporate standards since they don't stay long enough to get properly trained. The people that try to do a good job get frustrated and those who are just looking to coast (and don't mind the criticism from management) seem to work out just fine.
