Pros

Besides the free food/snacks, and the art hanging around, absolutely nothing

Cons

- Terribly managed. Management doesn't really know what they are doing or how to run a company effectively, and rely on fear tactics to keep employees in place. Clueless, but somehow with a superiority complex are words that come to mind to describe them. - They also love to misrepresent the type of positions they hire for: EX: they have posts for Analyst positions, Markets Specialists positions, Jr Trader positions, Account Management Coordinator. THEY ALL MEAN THE SAME= SALES REP!! -Salaries are on the low end of the "competitive" side, but they sell you hard on the commission. Now said commission is not given to you until after 6 months, which is reasonable, but means that until your second year there you won't be making more than 35,000yearly. They claim they have "stats" about the average salary for "Marketing Specialists" (or Sales Rep more accurately), that show much higher avg salaries, but those are lies. How do I know? Because nobody there really lasts more than a year. - Revolving door of a company: they hire and fire so many people that I am surprised they've managed to maintain a level of operation that was sustainable. - CEO: it's like having a bomb with an invisible fuse in the room. You never know when it'll explode, or what'll tick it off, but it will most certainly happen and you better not be in the crosshairs.

Pros

They give you bagels on mondays and lunch on fridays, coworkers were cool. Great place to work if you like to be lied to by management

Cons

Management is full of lying, selfish, arrogant individuals who enjoy nothing more than berating their employees. Base salary is atrocious, no vacation or time off for the first 6 months, management plays favorites, and is just a terrible place to work with no room for advancement. Management lies to employees in order to turn them against each other to further their own agenda Disclaimer: I only voted Parchem 1 star because zero, or negative 5 were not options

Pros

Absolutely none. I have no good things to say about Parchem, its people, its shady business practices and so on

Cons

Where do I start...Hostile work environment, no managerial direction or support, scare tactics often used on employees to get results, angry employees who will turn on each other at the drop of a hat if it means avoiding the wrath of the power hungry owner, lying on job posts and descriptions of what duties will actually entail. Look at some of these reviews, for example. Clearly staged by management and do not describe what each "employee" actually does or has experienced on the job. In close, do not even consider working here if you want to enjoy your occupation on a day-to-day basis and have any aspiration of advancing your career.
