Pros

The location and the office space is good.

Cons

If you want to - wake up and not want to go to work... - get more responsibility than what was agreed on before... - receive unclear expectations from management and then be made responsible for them... - witness colleagues being let go in an inhumane manner... - work in a misogynistic environment... - work under an inexperienced management team that does not provide an actionable vision and strategy, yet is very, very full of themselves - read Glassdor reviews from management team members that were posted to raise the rating scale - work in a culture in which vulnerability is considered a weakness, and people talk behind each others' backs ... then ParkBee is for you.

Thank you for sharing your feedback and I'm sorry to hear this was your experience. I've recently joined ParkBee as Head of People to support our ongoing journey and ensure People & Culture are at the heart of ParkBee's future plans. We'll be exploring our culture and workplace characteristics in the coming months with collaboration from the team. If you'd be willing to share more about your feedback, I'd welcome you getting in touch at people@parkbee.com Best wishes for the future.

Pros

Good office location and decent lunch options.

Cons

- The company undergoes strategy shifts and organizational restructuring annually, leading to a lack of stability. - New leadership is brought in each year, often implementing new ideas without fully appreciating the hard work and dedication of existing employees. This can result in employees feeling undervalued and unheard. - The workplace is highly competitive, with a strong emphasis on aligning with leadership. While some might see this as a driver for profitability, it can create a stressful and divisive atmosphere. - If you need to work from home or are dealing with health issues, support can be limited. The company closely monitors attendance and may not provide the flexibility some employees need, which can add to the stress. - Job security is minimal. Employment contracts typically start at six months, and while extensions are possible, they are often short-term, leading to ongoing uncertainty. This lack of permanence may not suit everyone. - If you value a respectful and supportive work environment, this may not be the best fit. The policies and culture have, in my experience, contributed to low morale and trust issues among the team. - There seems to be an effort to improve the company's online reputation, which may include encouraging positive reviews. However, addressing the underlying issues would be a more effective long-term solution.

Thank you for sharing your feedback and suggested priorities for People & Culture. As you'll know, I joined recently to lead our People & Culture team and am building our people strategy for the coming years in conjunction with the leadership team. I believe that placing people at the heart of our company is critical to success and that we learn as an organisation and a team by listening and growing together. We'll be sharing more about the people strategy in an upcoming All-hands in Q4. In the meantime, we launched our end-of-Q3 engagement survey last week and I'd welcome any updated feedback you would like to share there, or indeed through the ideas workshop we announced in our People & Culture Autumn Newsletter. Thank you.

Pros

Product idea is good Great Office

Cons

Lack of organization - management/leadership has almost no experience on it Decisions based on finances that have long term consequences to culture and quality of work Lack of transparent feedback and communication HR/People&Culture not aligned with (or even made aware of) management decisions Toxic environment made worse by adding individual KPIs Forcing individual competition instead of team work and goals Focusing solely on the goal of being an unicorn when the roof is on fire
