Pros

Free lunch, good coworkers, nice office.

Cons

No health benefits. Micromanaging CEO (believes that his ideas are the only ones that are valid). Strange business practices (withholding information from customers). Not a great work life balance. Not flexible (everyone must show up and leave at the same time). Old-school style of business practices. False promises to employees (telling them things in the interview/hiring promises that do not actually happen). Low salaries. No incentives to stay at the company. No stock options (its a tiny startup company, this should be standard).

Pros

The culture is unmatched. It truly is a family-like environment. The CEO encourages personal and professional growth while giving the employees many avenues to achieve their goals. The environment is extremely collaborative and supportive while facilitating innovation across every department. Nobody feels like they are less important than anyone else. Everyone plays a key role in the success of the company.

Cons

I can't think of any.

Pros

It has the potential to be great if they learned how to treat employees and be less closed minded.

Cons

pay: commission is a joke for the mark up on their product, they wont pay you until your customer pays because this company is loosing money. they dont have a AP/AR department so you are required to chase your customers to pay their bill. Parts: Never on time, hardly ever made correctly, and if you bring up your concerns its never anyone fault. Communication: For a company that has less than 50 employees it amazes me how god awful the communication is. The CEO doesn't show his face unless its to call for one of their 35 pointless meetings with the "VP of Business development and Marketing" guy whom I long questioned the reason of his being there as the marketing guy did all the work....? The COO has no idea how to even pretend to run operations for a company as she is far to busy putting out fires in her personal life, she claims how busy she is and that is why you can't get a quote approved for 1,2 or even 3 weeks! But yet has the time to travel with the CEO and CFO to go race their little sports toys. Human Resources: this is got to be the worst put together department, it is a free for all on how people talk to each other, the cursing, racial comments and sexual harassment is un-believable. Even during my exit interview I was interrupted by the HR Lady as I was voicing my concerns about how the company is ran and what is going on during the day. Finally: If you plan to be sick.... don't. You accrue sick time during your working time there and if you fall negative you will be written up and placed on a performance improvement plan (no matter how much you make the company, or how many orders you bring in) If you want a personal life, I would recommend not having such thoughts as they are going to put a stop to you ever wanting to enjoy your life. If you are used to having vacation days, waive good by to those because you accrue 5 through an entire year and no you don't get to roll over or gain more for every year you work there. I switched to a real corporation and was given 20 vacation days, 7 sick days, 4 personal and even a Birthday day.
