Pros

All of the cons listed is a fair evaluation of how bad the work environment is at Pathway Group LLC. There are numerous people who are in fear of speaking up. The advertising world is a small world and as soon as you burn a bride someone at Pathway would continue to try to ruin your career. I have been threatened with that already while working here.

Cons

1. Pathway has a toxic work environment Company culture is a hollow phrase thrown around by the president of the company that means nothing to her. I've sat in the windowless bullpen for a while working and feeling like a bottom feeder employee. The managers sit in their window filled offices. At the very least develop a pleasant physical space and a congenial, social atmosphere that employees don’t dread being in day in and day out. 2. Pathway lacks flexibility The world has changed to working remotely with flexible hours. Pathway keeps you here from 9-5 (let's be honest its more like 8:30 to 7:00 PM). The work you do it rigid and impossible to feel satisfaction from. 3. Pathway stifles creativity and discourages independence The most talented employees have good ideas, opinions, and observations — and they want to be heard. Shooting down ideas and telling people they are underperforming is discouraging and enraging. 4. Pathway lacks leadership development and mentorship The upper management is providing little coaching or constructive feedback to their subordinates, they’re doing everyone and the agency a diservice. Leadership development not only makes an individual better in their role, but improves the overall competency of the company. Mentorship often makes employees feel more invested in their roles. Pathway keep employees stuck in this box of misery and after doing their time, they are promoted out of need. 5. Pathway doesn’t invest in its employees Pathway does not invest in their emotional level and at the monetary/benefits level. The employees are venting out frustration on the internet, via text message, and at happy hour. They are not happy and they are poorly compensated. Most entry level people live with their parents because they can not avoid to live in New York with their poor salary. Meanwhile the president of Pathway is in their beautiful home in the middle of manhattan. 6. Pathway doesn’t keep its promises If a new employee enters a position in your agency understanding their role and responsibilities as one thing, and the reality of the job is a distant other thing, you’ll have a very hard time keeping employees on. Pathway promised training, learning and development, and work hard/play hard environment. The only truth there is you "work hard" and the remainder are all lies. 7. Most importantly, Pathway isn’t recognizing its faults This company (Pathway Group LLC) is habitually struggling with high employee turnover and you’re still clueless as to why, it’s time to start identifying the real reasons. They lie online about how they are "hiring due to growth". They lie about their "great culture". The only truth is that there are great people with potential who are stuck in a bad environment.

Pros

Has a member of the Pathway family for many years now, I can honestly say it just keeps getting better. They continue to strive for excellence and encourage growth opportunities for all. I work along side great team members who really enjoy what they do, but also have fun while they do it.

Cons

None that I can think of at this moment.
