Pros
White glove treatment for newcomers. The HR staff is nice and pleasant, the sales team are nice and friendly. They'll bring you to Houston for a meet and greet your first day even if they have to pay airfare.
Cons
- Very short expectations for working independently. 5 days is the given timeframe for a new employee. - Person responsible for training was also in meetings and couldn't devote his attention to new employees needs - Very sink or swim - Accessory equipment didn't arrive for 3 days, putting me at a disadvantage at a critical time

Pros
The pressure and responsibilities are lax. Not a high demanding position. A lot of the people that work in Austin are great to work with.
Cons
A lot of elements of this department are still not figured out. If you want to truly work hard and make commission, there is a lot of road blocks in the way. New position isn't really developed yet, and a lot of responsibility's have nothing to do with your actual job of selling. No one is really leading the ship in this department, and there is a lack or resources to fully develop a new department.
