Pros

There really isn't any to speak of. The people in accounting and HR are nice and it seems like there is a disconnect between them and operations.

Cons

Upper mgmt. how can a Portland based company go 3 years without capturing a project in its own back yard? A very bad reputation within the subcontractor community is the answer. Pavilion has now tried to penetrate the Seattle market and is losing millions in the process. Poor estimating, non-existent preconstruction, horrible senior level management, and an executive team that is oblivious to all of this.

Thank you for taking the time to write a review, we take all responses into consideration. We are sad to hear that you did not enjoy your time working with Pavilion. Our upper-level management is fueled by their decades of experience in the business, including our COO, who has twenty years in the industry and has built many relationships with subcontractors over the years. Pavilion is licensed in over ten states with a lot of ground to cover, so to combat this, the upper management builds the company with experienced industry-leading professionals to carry out the Pavilion name and build business with our many relationships with subcontractors and establish new ones in the process. We only hire the most experienced professionals to represent our name and it speaks for itself in our successful project deliveries in multiple states. We apologize that you did not have a good work experience with us, as many of our employees do. Thank you for writing the review, as it is valuable moving forward.

Pros

There are NONE. I CANT SAY ONE GOOD THING ABOUT THIS COMPANY. IF YOU HAVE ANY RESPECT FOR YOURSELF. RUN. AWFUL PLACE TO WORK.

Cons

This company is the worst. Run, don't walk. They are extremely unprofessional and unethical tyrants. If you enjoy being screamed at and disrespected then this is the perfect job for you.

Thank you for your response. We are sorry to hear about your experience with us. At Pavilion, we are comprised of industry-leading individuals that are driven to enhance their professional abilities, collaborate with multiple teams in a transparent and welcoming environment, and reach and exceed goals and deadlines, so it saddens us to hear that you didn't have a similar experience that many of our valued employees have shared as they progress in their careers with us. However, we take yours and all reviews, good or bad, into consideration moving forward. Thank you, again, for taking the time to write a review.

Pros

Flexible work hours, long as you get your work completed, it's a non-issue.

Cons

My time with this company was less than favorable. Upper management is very unprofessional to say the least. On more than one occasion, one of the co-founders made numerous derogatory remarks on the phone to a sub-contractor and then again would say it throughout the office. Certain PMs would scream and cuss over the phone in the office. The same would also come out of the estimating office. The pay is mediocre and not worth it for the type of unprofessional environment that is part of this companie's culture.

Thanks for your response. We are sorry to hear that you did not enjoy your time working with us. We understand that at times, we are within reach of project deadlines and have multiple projects and responsibilities on our plate at one time, but our upper management has developed strong tight-knit relationships with our industry clients who also understand the time-constraining pressures of project submittals and completions, which have in turn, developed into repeat business for us. We pride ourselves in our work environment that our employees look forward to working in every day, while getting their tasks completed and collaborating with those around them, so we apologize that you did not have a similar experience with us.
