Pros

Exceptionally secure and well defined structure. Low competition for traversing upward in the company. Fairly decent pay for a second level position in the company. Relatively low union dues. Kinda ridiculous benefits.

Cons

Union restrictions = pay restrictions if you are really pushing upward in the company. Job environment can be volatile depending on management (can also be great but it’s hit or miss).

Easy Job. Potato weges, rot. chickens, sliced meats etc.

Cons

Toxic culture. employees all bad mouth each other, cuss under their breath, look like the hate their life, and always give customers attitude.
