Toxic micromanagement and a cult-like engineering culture.
Micromanagement is baked into every level of this company — from your peers, to your manager, all the way up to the CEO. There’s zero trust and no room for autonomy. You’re not hired to think — you’re hired to obey.
Engineering is dominated by a tight inner circle. If you’re not part of it, your input is ignored. Decisions are made behind closed doors, and dissent — even when valid — is dismissed out of hand. Everything revolves around pleasing the CEO, who frequently makes irrational demands and spouts nonsense.
Try pushing back or offering a more grounded alternative, and you’ll be met with condescension: “You just don’t understand the vision” or “You’re not seeing the future.”
It’s all smiles on the surface, but the reality is deeply political, fear-driven, and toxic. Avoid if you value critical thinking, open discussion, or basic professional respect.
