Pros

I was treated respectfully, provided the tools and encouragement to improve, and learned a lot of things from the people I worked with.

Cons

Some of the pages used some outdated technologies, but it wasn't a huge deal and I still learned from it.

Pros

Nice and international team Few cool benefits like 30 days of holidays and a nice pension plan

Cons

Everything since Visa bought the company. The integration is not done and only serving a few (management). The majority of the company is completely left out and they don't care as soon as the management is happy and getting higher positions No career plan or development possibilities for the employees New management hires are just not good enough sometimes without even industry knowledge Very few salary augmentations since the acquisition

Hi, thank you very much for your feedback. Integrations are never easy and never perfect. They require a lot of energy from everyone involved. We are quite proud of what we have achieved together in less than a year since the acquisition, however, we understand from your feedback that you are dissatisfied. We can only encourage you to make use of our many internal channels to share your concerns and start a conversation, so we can check together if we can do anything to improve things for you. Reach out to your manager, to HR, or if you do not feel comfortable with that, you can always talk confidentially with our internal coaches. Thank you very much and we hope to continue this conversation.

Pros

- People. Everyone is really smart and really cool. Everyone is very cool when it’s not work related stuff. People from all over the world. - A lot of cool company and team activities like ski trips, bowling, beer o clock and Oktoberfest. So you really bond with everyone. - You could also get the chance to relocate for some months to one of their offices in London, NYC or Poland. -Home office and remote work is pretty common. - Personal development budget for conferences and courses, you choose what you want. - Vacations are flexible as long as you agree with your manager on good timing (no project pressure)

Cons

- ALWAYS a loooooot of work. - Always pressuring timelines and deadlines because they want to impress clients. - A lot of the space for creativity and innovation has been left out due to only doing projects for clients and not having enough devs. - You will do overtime always, and everyone does it. And I would even dare to say its expected. - Salaries are not good. - Everyone is super busy and have little time to help you out. This is always. They have good or at least fair documentation and expect you to figure out everything on your own. As Product Manager: For the product manager development process they lost a bit of sight of PMing, since HoP and the whole company overall wants you to be technical and focus on that. Yes, it is a technical product, but that should be the Engineers job, to shape the PMs ideas and solutions. They want you to think as a developer, and by so every document, every proposal and idea has to shaped as such. I really disliked this. Devs always complained about everything not being technically good enough. There should be middle ground that would allow PMs more problem solving creativity.

Hi, Thanks for taking the time to write this! It’s great to hear that you enjoyed the work atmosphere, activities, flexibility, the colleagues and the team. We also are very proud and feel fortunate to have worked and work with such talented and amazing people. Thank you also for your candid feedback on the elements you were not that happy with. If you have left us during the last months, we will have heard your points in detail during the feedback conversation we have now established with every leaver, and hope that you shared your thoughts openly and in detail back then. If not, we would love to hear from you directly in more detail; please reach out to us! We are very proud of our success and the growth that Payworks is continuing to show, as it enables us to grow our team and provide new opportunities to our existing employees. However, we also see that this success can lead to some growing pains and we are actively working on measures like adding additional teams or strengthening our Product organisation. Best, Nina
