Pros

The people The opportunities to learn and travel Nice offices Everyone is listened to An ethical approach Good package Regular communication from the management Clear path for progression

Cons

Regular changes to the plans regarding the resourcing of projects, but I suppose that has to be expected in consulting when clients dictate when projects start etc

Pros

Great company culture - very friendly, committed people some of whom are really technically talented (and respected within the Oracle ecosystem). A complete absence of company politics. Small company means decisions can be made quickly. A lot of personal responsibility given to those who ask for it. Good work/life balance for a consulting firm, surprisingly little travel. Standard of delivery usually good to excellent (a refreshing change from many consultancies). Highly approachable team of Directors. Strong Graduate training scheme (in fact, great scope for technical skills development at any level for people who are prepared to take the initiative).

Cons

Management roles not always clearly defined - people did whatever they thought needed doing. This worked most of the time but occasionally things fell between the cracks. Mix of very talented and hardworking staff alongside some who are rather more average can lead to tension. Occasional conflict between what consultants would like to be doing (Big Data etc) and what customers are prepared to pay for (mostly duller work). Tendency (albeit well-intentioned) to over-complicate things such as pay and performance assessment.

Pros

Excellent communication from management, good benefits, great team ethic and chances to socialize outside of work. Lots of varied projects and good career progression.

Cons

Resourcing is sometimes a little strained, but this is often down to client demand.
