      Fast pace company, leadership is lacking

      Pros

      Peerfit’s remote culture allows flexibility and their end product proves valuable to employees.

      Cons

      Leadership has more than questionable agendas. The top 3-4 people in the company (c-suite) are the ones who have a say and often benefit from lesser employees. Often no room for growth and no collaboration.

      Danger: CEO SEXUALLY HARASSES

      If you are a male employee you need not be concerned.

      Cons

      Multiple women were sexually harassed by the CEO Ed Buckley and leadership didn't do anything about it. Several females fired over time and made to sign NDA's.

      Pros

      Remote work in a team that has trusted to get the job done makes a world of difference. Not the case for all teams within the organization I heard. Fast paced work, lots of problem solving, and never a dull moment. If you don't do well in that type of environment, look elsewhere. Teammates are stellar and has the same motivation and drive to help the company succeed.

      Cons

      Misled by the CEO of the company. Held monthly ”All Hands” to get updates on the significant progress in achieving goals. ”Hitting insane goals, let's keep up the great work. Everything is going tremendously well!” Corona pandemic hits, two weeks in, brought in for a town hall meeting. CEO comes in and shares a brief story on how Peerfit needs to survive this. Going in maintenance mode, to achieve this, we're eliminating 40% of the company. Just. Like. That. I got the boot after the feeling of thinking we were safe. Computer locks down within a few minutes after. Its culture and hopes for the survival of the company look bleak.
