Pros

Worked at Penn as a Sales Rep for a little over half a year -Fun Industry -The accounts you work with are generally very friendly and building relationships is the best part of the job -Free or heavily discounted beer. If you're a beer fanatic this job will allow you to try virtually any type you could ever imagine

Cons

-Penn is an Anheuser-Busch wholesaler, so pressure from the corporate level is immense and they are constantly in market. Usually with very short notice you and your team will be told to have several stores in pristine condition for, "visits." These occur about once a month, are extremely stressful and cause everyone from management to sales reps to run around like chickens with their heads cut off. Once the visit is over, and hopefully goes well, there is little recognition for your hard work. -Upward mobility is difficulty and does not garner much of a pay increase for the level of demand -Job requires a lot of travel and it is constantly expected that you work outside 9-5 M-F
