      Pros

      I began working at the company after I had my first child. I felt very welcomed and at home. I felt that the management was very professional. The organization really cared about their employees and helped them advance and grow in their careers. They encouraged internal career development and promoted from within before seeking external candidates. Penserve was such a nurturing place. While there, I was given flexible work hours that allowed me to be available for my daughter. Penserve offered paid benefits and vacation. The only reason that I left the job was that it was an hour from my home.

      Trading Associate I, Relationship Manager

      Pros

      I was hired as a Trading Associate where I dealt with the top investment firms across the country. The position really helped me understand the finance world. It also gave me a broad overview as to how a Retirement Plan works. Shortly thereafter, I started to apply some of the principals I learned about the retirement industry to my personal life. The company is truly invested in its employee's success and knowledge. I was able to move to a Relationship Manager position in which I dealt with clients mostly on the East Coast. The team environment was outstanding. I had to work with other areas of the company and always found people to be very helpful. The company grew a ton during the time I was employed there. Many of the employees have been there for over five years and several for over 20 years! Very vibrant and friendly atmosphere! You definitely always have something to do! They are a very family friendly organization with flexible schedules. I decided to pursue my MBA and relocated.

      I cannot think of anything that affected me. I saw everything as a challenge.

      Pros

      The benefits after 90 will kick in, so that is a plus if you get to that. After that there is really nothing great about it.

      Cons

      So I started working for this company. From the beginning what they call training is not at all training, If you are new, be sure to write everything down bc after they tell you once they treat you like your some sort of idiot. Their system that they use for their investment management is difficult to begin with and they expect way too much from people who just started. The management over my team is very clickish and will talk behind all of the team member's back. It created a very hostile environment.
