I was surrounded by other young, ambitious recent college grads and made a couple great friends. While most list building, pitch writing and mass-emailing feels super tedious, the experience served me well and built real PR skills (both in media relationships and client relationships). The Burlington office was dog friendly, and right on Lake Champlain. Highly recommend interning at PMG for a semester if you're in college in BTV.

They cast a wide that allows you to find what category you truly love and fits with your style of work. - You will learn the difference between working for a PR firm with values and those without. PMG works for companies that put out great products/services and those that do good in the world. - PMG takes an integrated approach and allows various opportunities for growth. Like many other jobs, you get what you put into it, but PMG truly offers you room for growth and trusts their employees to take charge. - They will not promote you when you’re not ready. Some might see this as a con, but it is truly a plus. You receive feedback on your strengths and weakness and most importantly, get the ability to improve your personal PR craft if you put the effort into your own development.
