Pros

Engineers don't have unnecessary meetings. In a given cycle, you work as one-half of a pair and it is your own responsibility to report progress made. The engineering staff comprises people whose talent is tempered by a discipline to deliver.

Cons

There are fixed deadlines that bring with them the familiar pains of a waterfall. Compensation is on the low end.

Pros

- Friendly colleagues - Excellent food at the Dusseldorf office

Cons

- Significantly below-average salaries - Superficial concern for employee wellbeing - Management often lacks competence, can be demoralizing, offensive, judgmental, and ignorant - Frequent terminations without justifiable cause - Preferential treatment for managers and their friends, for example if you are a manager or friends with one you will get a care package delivered to your home when you are sick, otherwise you get nothing, just the HR or manager annoying you while being sick to send your sick note. - Rigid policies and limited flexibility regarding work hours and location, despite claims of adaptability - Misleading promises and benefits presented during the interview process
