Pros

You get to taste a lot of genuinely good sauces, and get a steep discount.

Cons

Holy cow. Where to begin. They raised prices and have yet to be able to keep up with the demand of product. So, you'll get a ton of stuff that won't sell, and be told to sell it at new higher prices. My stores roof was falling in and leaking every time it rained. Couldn't be bothered to fix that. The job was good until the promoted another manager after saying I could also apply and interview for the job but never interviewing me at all. The new DM was full of unethical ideas like, breaking a key off into a lock after failing to get it re-keyed because he "didn't see it" despite me telling him it was there. My store had carpet for some ungodly reason and it got cleaned once in the six months I worked there. It was never cleaned before I arrived. And it only got cleaned because the brilliant DM didn't properly check an order before taking possession of it, and it was full of broken product. Leaving literal standing inches of sauces on the floor, in a store with no AC during days that were in the 80s. I could go on and on about the ridiculous practices that happen here. There is no road to promotion unless you take jobs that you don't want. No one in the "home office" or headquarters seems to have any business training which is apparent not only in the way they handle everything but also, the constantly changing policies. When my store was having trouble hiring, they decided it'd be a good idea to decrease the pay offered for the position. Good stuff like that. Oh yeah, they don't offer any sales for black Friday. So, in a strip mall, on the biggest sales day of the year, you get to look in the customers face and tell them you have no sales. But you do have "bubdles" and the "buy 5 get one free" and "buy 10 get three free" which run all year round.... it's not a sale if you always offer it. You will be offered horrible insurance that only works if you work 40 hours a week but, if you're not a manager, you'll never get more than 30 hours. Gotta keep costs down and prices high. The new DM was the direct cause of one of my employees quiting, me quiting, and two more after me quitting. Yet, he still has his job. Despite one of his stores having to close due to poor sales under his guidance. Seriously, just run away from this company. Nothing good happens here.
