Pros

We had a good clinical team but not now, our diabetes nurses (CDCES certified diabetes nurses) were replaced with health coaches who know nothing about clinical or diabetes.

Cons

1, In the beginning of the year, they let some of the nurses go and now they let 10 nurses go and there was no communication at all. We are all worried for our jobs and if you say anything you are blackballed. 2. Administration never communicates. 3. We are told everyone is replaceable. 4. They micromanage everything we do now. 5. All of the management is from K-Health. They are all friends and they keep bringing people in. I read their reviews and its another bad company. 6. I don't think our members are getting good care now. 7. Those good reviews are from the management. They are trying to get funded. Our culture is really bad. 8. Very unethical company. I stay because I need a job.

Pros

There are literally zero pros to working at Perry Health.

Cons

-Terrible work/life balance; You're basically monitored your entire workday having to either document minutes on calls, prep time, documentation, etc. Have had multiple co-workers share they skip their lunch breaks. You honestly can barely even use the bathroom during the day or else you're not hitting their required "utilization metric" for the day. -Most micromanaged I've ever been in my life; Management is terrible with communication too and you can tell they've never truly lead a team or had difficult conversations. If you disagree with one thing they do, you're already in their bad graces and they're watching you from there on out. -Cares about nothing but your call length/time; You can talk about rainbows and butterflies with your patients for all they care. As long as they can bill Medicare and eventually the client, they just want you to keep them on the line. -You go to bed worried about whether or not you've hit your metrics; Most anxiety-inducing job I have ever had. -Triggering at times; If you're not religious, patients will try to convert you on the line. Many Pastors/Preachers are members. -I honestly have more to say but just run. Even thinking about the time I spent with this company makes me feel icky. It is not worth the impact it will have on your mental health and there are many other companies out there who may not pay as much, but they will treat you waaaay better than how you'll be treated at Perry. Just trust me on this. Please. (You can clearly see how the reviews have gotten worse over time. Take that into account as evidence.)

Too good to be true

Pros

Team dynamic, outstanding clinical care, supportive member experience team, and genuine care and concern for members by clinical and ancillary support staff.

Cons

Upper management is shady and will sell you on lies in order to suck you in, drain the life out of you like a vampire, then dispose of you. Communication between upper management and regular staff is relatively nonexistent. Bad business planning and decisions are dropped upon you with little to no notice, and their advertising is false and misleading with the promise of free testing supplies, only to have communication systems that badger members with unnecessary touch points. Services are not free and now that the PHE is over and copays will be charged and collected, these underserved members on fixed incomes are going to either bail completely, or become stressed out trying to find the financial means to continue.
