      Pros

      Good place to work, the HR does a great job of recognizing employees and providing guidance as well as encouraging wellness programs. There are a lot of good people that work for Person County Government.

      Cons

      The salary can be somewhat on the lower end due to it being a smaller county but the pay ranges have increased a lot over the years I have been here due to the county hiring outside consultants to adjust the pay scales. This has been a work in progress but getting better.

      Pros

      For a small town, Roxboro has many options for shopping, and resturants. For the most part it is a very pleasent work environment. People over all are friendly and willing to help when asked.

      Cons

      Buildings are out of date and do not accommodate current staffing needs. There was recently a pay study done, so wages have greatly improved, but many are still very underpaid. HR and management have a long way to go when it comes to weeding out the bad apples.
