Pros

Wonderful shelter staff team that work together really well when able to perform their job duties

Cons

Founder and ED do what they want when they want which includes showing up and not showing up whenever they want. They don’t stick to any sort of guideline or rules and trail blaze over their staff as they don’t trust them to do their jobs. They want to reinvent the wheel of sheltering but you don’t fix what isn’t broken

Pros

Dogs and cats on-site so you can destress from your day. First no kill shelter in SC.

Cons

Not enough pay, leadership comes from founder who shouldn’t be involved anymore. High turnover due to involvement.

Founder is vindictive

Pros

They are committed to saving animals.

Cons

Ask how many Executive Directors they have had in the last dozen or so years? Too many. Why? Because although Carol Linville doesn't want to run the place anymore, she doesn't want anyone else to be successful. It's called founders syndrome.
