Pros

Bring your pets to work, easy job, some co-workers are friendly, great company paid events.

Cons

As the title states, looks can be deceiving. Too many incompetent employees in very critical positions. Clique like behavior with management and brown nosing employees. Some departments are treated better than others. Too much focus on "diversification" and brown nosing not on skill and performance. Expect your "employee duties" to change multiple times a year. Some inappropriate and honestly very cringy behaviors are normalized due to sexual preference. It had the promise to be an amazing career opportunity for hard working and competitive employees however I fear it has changed into a revolving door pitstop job.

Pros

Great office working set-up, call center, each person has their own workstation. Large breakroom with cable TV, free coffee and snacks.

Cons

Pay rate is really low. Company wants college graduates that can get a property insurance license but only wants to pay them 13.00 per hour. Lots of micromanagement. Boss measures your bathroom time daily and emails out a chart. Sales calls are not qualified leads and most are unemployed or retired and can not afford the insurance. Sales calls are classified as warm calls but really most are cold calls. Callers are tricked into being transferred from another company or they are calling to get something promoted as a free offer. Difficult to close large number of sales to earn any commission. All commissions are lost if quota is not meet.

Pros

Bring your pet to work(when we worked from the office) there are 2 different types of ice machines, they pay for your licensing, some great co workers.

Cons

Outsource most sales calls to outside companies. Continue to make in-house reps do more non sales related tasks and backing it with "licensed agents" being only ones to do said tasks even though non of the outsourced reps are "licensed". These outsourced reps are allowed to set up policies. Which you are required to be licensed to do so. Constantly over promise and under deliver. Blatenly lie about what they will and won't do. Seems like a constant battle for proper training and more opportunities to sell. Blatent favoritism This is a confusing place where it seems like they do everything they can for you to get LESS opportunities to sell then yell at why you convert so little sales. Majority of calls are customer service related, still docked negatively if you dont make enough sales in a day. What you end up selling is a confusing mystery. They just recently removed reporting when there were discrepancies and when you keep track it never adds up to what you get paid on. When you speak up about any of said issues you seem to get punished for it. Extremely stressful and not worth what we make. Since covid this has made the whole sales team even more mentally drained than before. Im sure the sales team will be confronted about this review and one of us will get fired for this.
