Doesn't RecommendNeutral OutlookI worked at Peter Alexander full-time for more than 5 years
Pros
Discounts and the staff in head office who can be super friendly and helpful but at a store level you rarely get to interact with them.
Cons
I was constantly overworked and severely underpaid. I had to quit for my health and walking into stores now I can still see that they’re run by the same upper management team who pretend that they’re “always there for you” and then will only ever find time to talk to you when they think you’ve done something wrong.

Doesn't RecommendNegative OutlookI worked at Peter Alexander part-time for more than a year
Pros
Discount and wearing PJs on weekends
Cons
Management deliberately didn’t give me a new contract / pay because I moved up a role and started closing the stores and handling more management style roles. Plus the poor as work culture is great :)

RecommendsNegative OutlookI have been working at Peter Alexander part-time for more than a year
Pros
50% discount, pj days, fantastic working team, flexible (sometimes) hours, extra pay for late nights and weekends.
Cons
The company only cares about the money coming in and not about workers. Management turnover high due to high expectations and unwaranted pressure. Micromanagement by everyone higher than store manager. Head office changes their mind every other second leading to double handling. Coronavirus has also shown how little the company cares about its staff who are exposed to the public.
