Pros
Smaller teams compared to big corporate makes friendly environment. Flexible start time.
Cons
Not much opportunity to advance up in career, and sometimes downgrades and taking up or multiple roles are asked. Annual bonus is much smaller than bigger corporates (at least for non-manager roles) Mass layoffs happened during difficult real estate market, which is fair; the lay off notice was less than 1 min notice and immediate termination of access. The abrupt termination was neither necessary nor ethical.
