Pros

A fun field. Stable company.

Cons

Weird and forced corporate culture. Frequent drama among leadership that often effects various departments. Corporate staff required to work long hours on sales floor during June regardless of regular role. Underwhelming pay and benefits.

Pros

Customers. Unless you have bought fireworks in the past, it is a shock to see the excitement that takes place. Buyers of fireworks are like Kids in a Candy Store. They love their fireworks and the excitement overflows to all, both customers and employees.

Cons

Everything else. They are the most dishonest company to be associated with. You cannot believe anything anyone from upper management says to you. The company's owners, husband and wife. makes all decisions, to the smallest insignificant decision. No one can be trusted because everyone is afraid of the CEO, which is what he loves He finds great enjoyment in controlling people. That goes from his Executive Vice President Brother, to the newly hired seasonal stoker. His decisions can change on a whim. If he is upset about his cat at home your bonus might be taken away. Even if he puts something in writing it means nothing to him. He gets great pleasure in hurting people that he can control because of his financial and political power. But, he will never confront someone with more financial power for he then loses his only real strength. Plus, his and wife's only true love is the All Mighty Dollar. In fact the two of them are separated. He will never learn that he cannot take the money with him.
