Pros

Interesting range of clients. Nice office space.

Cons

Very poor management structure. Lack of creative freedom on projects. Agency is basically an outsourced production studio for Google.

Pros

I worked at Phantom for nearly a year and a half and loved every minute of it. I'm kind of sad (and a bit confused by some reviews?) to see people didn't have the same experience. Would say everyone is treated very fairly and given every opportunity to perform. They say it comes from the top down – the management at all levels in Phantom is unrivalled. Emily, the CEO, was inspiring to me, and proves that as a young woman, you can be kind and fierce, and still make a huge mark and influence in your industry. Each person in a Head / Lead position at Phantom brings such different skill sets and personalities, but the collaboration and aim for the agency is completely unified. You'll work with some of the most unbelievably creative people out there – Phantom work with top tier clients because the talent is truly the best of the best. You're absolutely expected to work hard and be accountable, but it's a shared effort and I've never felt more supported and pushed to deliver to the best I can by my team. I miss them a lot! Phantom also invests their own time and talent into bringing awareness to social issues – which is something that can be lacking in this industry. No matter how busy we are as an agency, there is never a shortage of those putting their hands up to contribute to any piece of activism initiated, which I think speaks volumes about the culture and type of people who work there.

Cons

If you want to fly under the radar and "just cruise," I would look elsewhere.

Pros

Great and talented people Great to have Google and Sony Music as clients

Cons

Culture looks great on social media, but the leadership should care more about the employees otherwise everyone will continue to leave. There is very little trust from above, way too much micromanagement and for such a young, cool company, there is absolutely no flexibility in how/when you work. Most of the work is done for Google, so there isn’t as much creative freedom as you would think. Any creative projects there are, have short timelines and you have to invest your own time to feel like you are really getting any value out of the work.
