      Phigenics is the best!

      Pros

      The people - this is the most cohesive team I have ever worked with. I can call any fellow employee (including the upper management team) at any time and they will all give you the time to answer questions or assist you in any way. Phigenics has a rigorous hiring process, which means they make excellent hiring decisions. This is the first company I have worked for where every person is intelligent, accomplished, ambitious, and works together for a common goal. I have not met a slacker on the Phigenics team!

      Cons

      I work more than 40 hours a week - I don't mind, but other might view that as a con. Travel to client sites is regular and can be tiring, but I am always home on the weekends.

      No Growth Potential / Low Pay

      Pros

      Flexible hours are fantastic. The bonuses are twice a year and usually large.

      Cons

      Pay is not competitive for where I live. "HR" is a joke. Communication is almost non existent from management. Cultural problems exist between teams. No growth potential in the laboratory. Job descriptions and how to achieve the next level in growth do not exist.

      Growing like Crazy

      Pros

      With growth like we're experiencing, there is always opportunity. A positive attitude will carry an employee far. Great benefits, bonus structure, 401k and a very generous length of employment reward. The Founders are always looking for ways to make our work experience better.

      Cons

      All open/new positions should be posted so all can see what's available.
