Low morale and ongoing communication issues

Pros

Having a salary. Some great colleagues across teams.

Cons

Communication from exec leadership is terrible. Either new “exciting” ideas are shared too soon and never eventuate, or they don’t share important updates. There doesn’t appear to be a clear long-term strategy. Teams are regularly required to shift focus, but underlying problems remain. Incentives or competition rewards are often so minimal that they negatively impact morale rather than motivate. Payout decisions lack transparency, and disputes over commission splits or eligibility are common, often arising late in process. Desk setup seems designed to make your targets impossible and internal systems can make it harder than necessary. Lack of support, they don’t have processes to fall back on and provide minimal training. The rating history shows a noticeable cluster of 5 star reviews posted within a short period (March 2022), which raises questions.

Pros

That one day I'll have a new role.

Cons

* Upper management doesn't know how to manage people, they are only there to carry out Scott's whims which change daily. * Will not invest in staff and sees all current staff as potential future competition so will never help you to succeed or grow. * No support for new starters, if anything they are actively pushed under and then let go at the end of their probation or bullied/ micromanaged out. Multiple recruiters were put on performance plans just for going on annual leave. * You are unable to trust anything upper management says. Commissions are withheld/ changed and in-company EVPs are not received. * Consistently high turnover that is kept quiet. Each lay off/ resignation/ redundancy is kept as a secret until after the person has left. Even then there are next to no comms from any part of the company, the person is just gone. * Pushes all admin/ clerical work to the women in the company, even if it's not their job, and does not compensate for this. * Extremely prevalent sexism - if you're not a man, you won't be listened to. * The lowest morale of any workplace I have been a part of. *Stingy!! Honestly a sinking ship, I have no idea how it has lasted this long with such shoddy leadership.

High-quality company, where you can grow while doing meaningful work!

Pros

The team culture and inclusion efforts, especially while working from home. Visible improvement processes , every year is better than the last. Learning and progression opportunities. Great industry and a job doing meaningful work. While the financials, KPIs and achieved targets are there too, the focus is on the people as human beings and quality of the work environment first. Incentives, commission & friendly competitions.

Cons

No cons, if there was anything in the past, it has already been improved.
