      20 years behind the times in manufacturing

      Pros

      As much as I would like to express any pros about Phoenix Stamping, there just aren't any.

      Cons

      This is a company and management team that wants to adopt and implement elements of "world class" manufacturning principles when in fact, they are severely lacking the basics. Fundamentals such as robust manufacturing procedures, logical and effectual quality systems and most importantly, an effective safety program are completely chaotic and astoundlingly deficient!

      Pros

      I've thoroughly enjoyed my time at Phoenix. Since I began in 2010 the company has grown significantly and has taken that growth and reinvested it in the employees and infrastructure. In my eight years with PSG I've had numerous opportunities for professional development and skills training in order to enhance my personal and professional growth. Hard work and dedication is rewarded as I was able to work my way from an entry-level position to an executive management role. Phoenix also has a very family oriented culture that is promoted from the top down. Overall, Phoenix is a great place to work and I've enjoyed my time here.

      Cons

      As with any smaller company, positions sometimes overlap and many hats are often required, but this promotes teamwork and also gives ample knowledge of processes that exist outside of your own department.
