Pros

Great benefits, team environment, great location.

Cons

Some people there are difficult to work with. Although benefits are great, actual salary is less than industry standard for skill set. Some lower level managers seem a bit clueless.

Pros

If you have deep root in Pierce County and all you care is relative job security, then this is a good place for you.

Cons

The management, including the county level, is very tightly knitted, particularly the IT/Software department. If you are there long enough, then you'll discover the management teams are all related to each other. As a result, they always let highly capable people leave, so they can keep enough head count. Therefore if you are a minority or female, my advice to you is do not think you can be there for long-term!

Pros

Good benefits and vacation time.

Cons

Like the other reviewer mentioned, the competent developers either left or got demoted, Yes-man who can’t code their way out of a paper bag got promoted.
