Pros

Had a fun floor team. PRO WAS LEAVING THAT HELL HOLE.

Cons

So many!!! Turned corporate & no one cares anymore about employees or even how they are. Zero compassion & don’t even care how you’re doing. Upper management is absolutely awful. No experience, background or education in any sort of management or accounting (I know what I’m talking about, I have my BA in finance). They basically make up rules as they go. Very little training and several different ways of doing things; not a single correct way on how! Massive confusion throughout and poor upper leadership. Very unprofessional. Even the leads (who were pretty great) are treated poorly at times and blamed for everything!! Better off going to VCA or even Diamond for employee appreciation. Very little employee retention. Everyone employed here has considered leaving at one point in time and several have cried at work!! After I left here, they have ruined veterinary medicine for me and I will never go back to being an assistant/cashier ever again. Hardly anyone gets to know each other anymore because of the extreme high turnover of employees. UPPER MANAGEMENT = THEY JUST DO NOT CARE. Most every employee walks with their head down looking to the ground and barely will say hi (if at all). No feel good “Thank you” appreciation by upper management. They need to do a clean sweep of the upstairs/higher management people: OUT WITH THE OLD & IN WITH THE NEW. Bunch of old crabby crows in my opinion.

Pros

Great people, supportive management, strong team learning environment. Management has been working on culture and there has been great improvement over the last several months. The team really feels like a family.

Cons

Took too long to have a toxic person out of pilchuck. She self eliminated and everyone is so much happier.
